James Madison, WI's Bongzilla differentiate in uncommonly heavy and doomy sludge-core dedicated to their 1 and only love: weed. Formed in the mid-'90s by Microphone "Muleboy" Makela (guitar/vocals), Jeff Schultz (guitar), Nate Dethlefsen (bass voice), and Microphone Patrick Henry (drums), the chemical group followed its first demonstration with 1998's Methods for Attaining Extreme Altitudes EP. This, in go, was followed by a string of abusively profound, corrosively down-tuned releases through Fall back Records, including 1999's Cache, 2002's Gateway, 2004's Apogee, and 2005's Amerijuanican.
